ON Certified Product
ON Certified Product is the product-certification system for the Europe-wide and worldwide admissible certification of the conformity of products according to national, European or international standards and other technical rules.
Which products can become a "ON Certified Product"?
All products for which there is a valid product standard (a standard containing the requirements of a product) and a testing standard (a standard containing the respective testing methods).
How to get the certificate "ON Certified Product":
- Requirement is a product standard (a standard containing the requirements of a product) and a testing standard (a standard containing the respective testing methods).
- Application for certification by the manufacturer.
- Initial inspection and sampling by a testing body which is accredited for the required testing or notified according to EU directives (national or international).
- Positive initial inspection.
- Continuous external quality-control, at least once a year, by the initial testing body.
