ÖNORM … geprüft
"ÖNORM … approved" is a certification system for domestic and foreign products, designed for the Austrian market. Using an ÖNORM as basis, which provides specific labeling according to § 3 (2) of the Federal Act of Standardization of 1971.
How to get the certificate "ÖNORM … approved"
- An ÖNORM, which allows for explicit labeling according to § 3 (2) of the Federal Act of Standardization of 1971. Application for "ÖNORM … approved" certification by the manufacturer.
- Positive initial test by a testing body, which is part of an ÖNORM-provided testing-center group ( national Austrian and/or nationally accredited testing body and/or civil engineer).
- Supervision contract with the respective initial-testing center or check test every year, or every second year (according to the regulations of the respective ÖNORM).
