- Requirement is a European product Standard (EN).
- Application for certification by the manufacturer.
- Initial inspection of the factory and sampling by a testing body authorized (for the testing) by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
- Positive initial inspection.
- Continuous external quality control by the initial testing body.
